I don't have room for the mandatory ATF WS wall though.

Is that min wage there? I guess CA isn't that much better, I think it's $12/hr here.

    Min wage is 7 something,
Cost of living is really low though.

Damn, the federal minimum wage is $7.25 I think lol. Here you can't live on anything near the state minimum wage ($12/hr) unless you work more than one job.

Well considering your minimum is $7.25 or so, that's pretty good. I think here, $30/hr is about $60k a year which is about what a single person needs to live 'comfortably' while renting a small living space. If you have a family and/or bigger debt, that needs to be considerably higher

SF Min Wage is $15. Most of the entry level jobs I’m looking at start at $25 per hour.

Should really get Cisco certified. They pay $75 an hour starting.

    :bananadead: don't remind me.

My younger brother and his wife moved to Kansas City earlier this year and just bought their first home, a really nice 1500 sq ft house with big yards for a whopping $150k.

Here that will buy you a shanty out in the desert

The house my wife and I rent ($2100/month) is listed on Zillow for $650k. It's only about 900 sq ft and 2 bed/1 bath.

I’ve been looking at houses. 250-300k can get me a acre and 2500-3000 sq ft. But I want land. No house yet.

What sort of job are you looking at? Im being told that in the field Im going in to, expect $27ish starting out after 2 years of school. Could be as low as $25 or as high as $35 depending on the company.

$75/hr would be the tits...that's like what, $150k a year full time?

I'm one of the few full-time employees at my company that's hourly, which doesn't bother me really because I get better overtime pay that way.

Your average tech related company. I’m looking at AV install jobs as a remote tech. Works for me since I don’t have to work 9-5, and it’s mostly weekends and nights. 1099 contract.

If you came out here your pay as an automation engineer would be closer to $75-$100 per hour.

If you do anything tech here you’re rich. Go get your Motorola Six Sigma, Cisco, Salesforce, etc certification and you’re easily making $100k+ starting salary.
