All this talk reminds me., I need to order a new control board for our stove... it burned up again. Wonderful design from kitchen aid puts all the heat at the board

I’m going to tear into it tomorrow and check everything.

Everything is falling apart at our house lol. I just re placed the fan motor on our a/c unit, then the capacitor dies. Change that. The. The fridge acts up, the stoves not working right. Shits fun

yes, i toally agree with the trustworthiness anymore, i have no faith in these shops for several times they have returned my truck to me with something wrong and out of order
i have confronted them about this issue a few times and they just shrug their shoulders like they could care less...

the first 10yrs I seemed to get very good service (with just the standard preventative maintenance packages) until they all seemed to change ownership and locations!
i have extenuating health concerns that makes most of this major automotive stuff a major pain in my cotDamn crippled neck that seems to be getting worse with my awful sleep anymore

there is not much (basic zilch) for local TW members, i am having to drive 7hrs to find a good size TW group once a month that are willing/able to check stuff out for me
not sure how much they are going to want to charge me

do you know I have never ever changed my own oil on my truck, I did on my old 70s toyotas in my teens but my neck was starting to give me issues and just kept progressing
maybe these shops oughta give me the handicapped discount or something, just like the senior citizen discount :notsure:
@CrippledOldMan may or may not agree with this

hopefully your heat works in the winter!

i had to suffer no heat for a few days some years ago with single digit temps during one winter storm
neighbors tree branch fell over the fence and severed the main power line, ripped it right off the side and a Live power line dangling by the back door
took the public power 2 days to come and safely temporarily hook it back it up to get some heat
had to run space heaters with extension cord from neighbors kitchen during the ordeal

Heat isn’t too much of an issue. We’ve got radiant and the central heat. At least if one fails the other will work. (Unless the world wants me to be pissed and both fail)

    yes i think so
assuming i can get them out before Monday I am getting them powdercoated to match the spare wheels
    about $5 per hook
i shall have to see how the powdercoat holds up to use and abuse now that I can use them like I have never used them before

its going to be unchartered territory!

a new age for the Tacoma
