    insurance rates here are fawked from all of the catastrophic hail events we've had the last several years. I actually ended up with progressive through a Broker and I've gotten quotes from nationwide, geico, all state, farmers etc and they were all higher.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    The problem is no one ever did and many turbo models bit the dust hard. The NA ones ususally lasted a bit though, until an over head killed that massive oversized cylinder head

    Do those insurance companies actually come through though when you need them to? I've always wondered about that. If you go downtown in LA you see a bunch of those hole in the wall insurance agencies for auto, life, home, etc. and I've never really known anyone that's used them before, but some people must be.

    I use Erie insurance. Theyre not huge, but you can find offices throughout the southeast. Theyve always come through for us. I wouldnt go hole in the wall small, but not nationally recognized either. A regional chain would probably give you some of the best rates.
