    Cant cause 22re.

Swapping a 3.4 drivetrain and putting that LT kit on my dads 92 is something I hope to do one day if he actually ever gives me the truck.

I know you're down on it, but the 22re is the engine to have in those things. I'd probably keep it, with the right gearing they have no issue pushing 37s around.

I know they have a great reputation, but that particular motor must be a lemon or something. Cant go long before another issue arises.

That and theres so many good resources available for swapping in a 3.4. Just seems like a no brainer.

Although, those LCE built 22Re's do catch my eye. And would be a super easy swap.

Been stalking that 3rd gen thread for the OVtune turbo and supercharger kits....so many boost thirsty 3rd genners. Gonna be interesting to see what kinds of threads pop up once all these guys start buying those kits lol. I have a feeling many of them don't really see the rabbit hole they're about to dive into

If you had the 3.slow I would have totally said go right for the 3.4 swap, but unfortunately Toyota thought it was the best idea to move the motor mounts for the 22re, so it isn't quite as drop in, same with the trans an tcase mounts, the gauge cluster and CC stuff is different too. You'd have to swap the 5vz trans too

Most third genners seem to have an assortment of credit cards to distribute the debt amongst. Theyll just let JP Morgan handle the problems.

Yeah. Doubt it ever happens though. Maybe once I get settled into a place of my own I could convince him to sell it to me as a project truck. Hes real sentimental about it, but I hate just seeing it sit in the garage. So maybe he'd he convinced to sell as long as it stays in the family.

The next recession will be brought on by 3rd gen owners taking out predatory loans on turbos

Thanks, but it's all good now. Strange how the neck and body were two different plastics. Neck will crack into a zillion pieces, body is tough as can be.

A smart man knows there's no significant money to be made on Toyota truck turbo kits. Tooling, labor, and such outweighs the buyer base. So much R&D

3 out of the 5 toyotas in my family have leaky washer tanks. As long as it holds a fair amount of fluid, i dont care.
