They said the 1st 2 they have are already gone, I can’t imagine that’d post them like that and not have a basically ready to go out.

 

I dont think people let those go to junkyards typically. Everyone near me (3 yards, 4 cars) were autos. Ill try and fill the buttons with epoxy to prevent them from being pressed. Should look and feel like any old switch blank after some black paint.

 

I planned on wiring them to control the stereo. Volume and Channel Up/Down. Easy to do with a steering wheel interface and some resistors.

Chances are you can find the buttons from Toyota for the 30-40 dollar mark from a jdm car

That would be nice, but not something I want to dive into. Im good with industrial power and components, but the minute I dive into small electronics/resistors I get lost easy.

 

Eh, Im doing this on the cheap lol. Ill try my method first and if I find a manual wheel Ill just grab the filler plates.

If all you gotta do to make yours work is do some soldering on the CC, you should go ahead and do it. This wheel seems very comfortable to hold.

Corolla. It is very comfortable.

Front end was mangled. Otherwise I wouldve made @BartMaster1234 jealous with its stock 98 black fender.

 

Also the same as the Rav4's minus the audio controls. I like the one in my sisters car.

 

I just don’t like the size of the wheel in the truck. I like holding a big ol fucking wheel in my trucks.

 

I like the feel of the 3 spoke. Also the wheel in there now looks like it came out of a minivan with its huge center pad.

 

Issue with that is that the airbag has the modern two stage charge.

 

Easily swapped if your willing. The bag itself is the same inside. The dual charge is just for lower and higher energy impacts.
