I like them as well. Made in Japan. (Only a few thousand were imported I think, right?) Well built. Have their little quirks like anything but nothing too major. Nice little cult following. I've always thought they look kinda cool but someone on Mud liked them and that got me to really check them out.

I had a @JKO1998 moment yesterday and spotted a cougar on the trail, first time I've ever seen one out here. Was a big reddish brown cat with a huge fucking tail, the tail was longer than it's body. Came around a bend in the trail and saw it leap out from behind a bush and up the hill.

Seen bears, bobcats and coyotes out here many times but never a mountain lion, pretty cool

yeah the ones I see in your photos I think are more yellow, this dude was like a reddish brown/orange color. Dunno if that means anything for all I know they're all the same species. Couldn't really make out how big it really was since it moved so quick but if I had to guess I'd say it was a younger one.

yeah I didn't think about that till later lol. We were all moving pretty quick at that point and it was hot AF out.
