Ok so we have somewhat similar trucks. Same year and such. But how well do you think that’s gonna work for a bull bar

Why on earth would the mods agree to do that? Especially if it has this kind of effect on the forum lol

Maybe all of our post counts are dropping? I haven't paid attention to that

Sounds like a pain of a process to do lol. Which is why I'm surprised they'd do that unless there was a good reason for it

Not sure what you mean? If it was originally on an earlier model 1st gen then I can't say for sure if it'll fit an 04, I think there were some slight changes to the front of the frame between the two models but I can't confirm that. Personally I'm not a big fan of those, they're known to increase damage to your front end if you happen to rear end someone or hit something head on, based on how they mount. A full steel or aluminum front bumper would be a better choice if you're looking for protection.

That was the reason I sold the bull bar that came on my truck, was the first thing I did actually when I got it.

97-99 has a different frame horns. Idk if that makes a difference when it comes to bull bars. But it does on any other bumper

Oh nice. Hopefully it cures your issue. Yeah when they discontinued the flex hose & took em off the website I drove to 3 different HFs to buy what I could find. Luckily the cashier told me which stores still had stock.

Wait, are we talking about the same one? Lol. The ones I'm using are the short 9" ones & not the long ones. They still sell those. No matter which one you use though.

Yeah I have issues but hey, they were only like $3ea. :D

They're not Horrible Freight all the time. I'm not the type to buy cheap tools but there are certain things I will buy from them. But yeah, uh, I needed them! Lol. That's my story & I'm sticking to it. They're probably sitting in an unknown box somewhere in the garage. :D
