get outta here with that logic and sense lol. I didn't choose the boost life, the boost life chose me (came with the truck). Looking back I probably could have saved a bunch of money if I had taken it off in the beginning but I've got too much into it now. Plus I think I just need to switch to meth injection instead of the stupid 7th injector and that would do the trick. It's on the list

But yeah for me and the way I use my truck its definitely not something I would have bought for myself if it hadn't come with the truck already.

Actually that's a good point, I don't think then 95-96 Tacomas can be boosted, the ECUs can't handle it or something like that. Unless you swap the ECU out for a later model maybe

I forgot you have the 4banger so yeah shouldn't be a problem. I think the 3.4s ECUs that year can't adjust the timing or something like that to account for it so it runs like crap.

I think they sell turbo kits too for that engine or at least they used to

In terms of off-road performance what's better turbo or supercharger? I got a 3.4l

Supercharger I would think, builds power right away whereas a turbo you have to work up to it. Although nowadays there are turbos that work more efficiently so IDK

In normal world with normal people and normal money and normal skills, a supercharger starts boosting earlier than a turbo. And low rpm is boost is offroading, crawling. Unless you're a high speed high rpm desert runner, which most aren't

More to go wrong with a turbo kit as well, if you count reliability as a part of off road performance.

true, every turbo build I've seen on here seems endless with the amount of parts, custom fabricating and tuning and shit they gotta do to get it running right. I feel like the supercharger is a headache and it's practically bolt on in comparison.

Guess it depends on how much you're asking out of either kit that determines how complicated it is
