    I feel we are all on the same TEQ Toyota team, and if Mr Toyoda found out we were fighting with our other Tacoma brothers over it, he would take our trucks away.

    My front end style actually grew on me to right close with the early one. You know who has an awesome looking 98-00 front end, or whole Tacoma for that matter, is nzbrock. Awesome freaking Tacoma he's built

    Also it's an old truck based on an older platform, stop trying to compare it to modern performance. It was designed to be reliable and was notably slow when it was made, it hasn't aged any better in that regard

    Well you have the electronically controlled trans too, lots of stuff to deaden all your spastic inputs. If any of it decides not to give it's all you could have low line pressures, stick between gears (feels like a really long slow gear)... Any number of issues
