I found an app through the Google play store called NoMoRobo or something like that...claims to block all robo calls. Might give it a try, it's only a couple bucks a month and at this point I'd pay more than that to get it to stop

Maybe since I called them out on it they'll actually take me off their fucking list though...hopefully

If you try it let me know how it works! I pay for one of those apps but for unsubscribing to junk mail and it's taken a few months but I'm down to only getting a couple junk mail things a week. My mailbox used to fill up every 2-3 days it went unchecked

yeah I get a ton of those too but gmail does a pretty good job of filtering them into the spam/junk folder, I rarely see one get into my actual inbox. But it does eat up a lot of memory on my email account still

If I get one more of those SS calls I'll download the app and let you know lol

At least I'm not getting the Chinese robo calls anymore, been a few weeks since the last one. I was getting several of those daily too for awhile. My list of blocked phone numbers on my phone is enormous

LOL I'm talking about paper mail. If our healthcare system was up to date and handled electronic billing better I wouldn't bother checking the mail but I still have to.

hahah I'm so unfamiliar with snail mail anymore I didn't even consider that lol. Yeah pretty much anything I get in the mail nowadays is junk. I'll have to look into one of those unsubscribing apps too, never really thought about it

I get my credit card statements and a couple bills in the mail still, my credit union charges a "convenience fee" of $15 to pay your monthly bill online which is BS but it is what it is.

Also stuff from friends and family...just wait in 10-15 years you'll be getting wedding invitations left and right

Sometimes I get good stuff like Harbor Freight catalogue/coupons or rewards coupons to certain auto parts stores.

I unsubscribed from all those ad catalogs since it seems like their "promotions" are always the same sales prices more or less...or not enough of a sale for me to want to jump up and run down to buy something lol

Just give your local time and temp phone number when you buy something online. The phone will answer with a recording. That really pisses them off.

Actually, now they know they have a working number, they will sell it to all kinds of robo callers. I no longer answer my phone, unless it is someone in my contacts. Otherwise, leave a message. As time has gone along, I have gotten less and less. I'm down to maybe one or two a week.

Thats the thing though I've literally been ignoring them for weeks and it's just gotten worse. Blocking every number that comes through that I don't recognize but they use a different one each time

I actually haven't gotten another one since that one this AM so here's hoping, but I'm gonna get that robocall blocker app just in case

I've signed up on that website several times

These aren't traditional sales or solicitor calls, I don't get those probably thanks to the donotcall.gov site. But I don't think these scammers from overseas abide by that

I used to get 2 or 3 calls a day. I signed my number up on that website and verified it through email. I haven't got a call since.
