I rebuilt my manual hubs with new pawls and clutches, springs, o-rings, and snap rings.

I had a considerably hard time finding those parts, it’s much easier to just buy new manual hubs since a lot of those parts cannot he had separately. I ended up replacing everything besides the hub dials (Since I had them powdercoated)

I’ll probably end up renting that construction towable compressor every time I have a group buy. Towable compressor will run me about $3,500 at the cheapest, I can rent it for a day from United Rentals for $200. Will be a while until owning one is worthwhile.

They dont have it on hand, when I called they needed a week to get it. Amazon had it on Prime and free shipping. But that didn't pan out so I'll just have the dealer order it now.

The supplier that did it through Amazon straight up sent the complete wrong part number, it's like some dude just found a nut on the shelf and figured that would do it lol.

Sounds like a good plan. How much you gonna drive the prices of the horns up to compensate lol?

Man I need to hit a trail, been almost 2 months. Think this is the longest I've gone in the 3 years I've had my truck.

Weekend in busy and so is the next...FML.

What "new" hubs do I buy?

I just looked up videos on disassembly and assembly and looks easy enough.

Same thing with me and mountain biking. Except I got out of shape this summer to add to my issue. Rode some in Arkansas but not as much as I wouldve liked. I wanted to die after 8 miles or so over 2 days. Used to be able to do 12-16 miles in one day no issue depending on the trail system.

Yeah when it comes to exercise it's one of those things you have to stick to a routine on otherwise you gotta put in twice the work to get back to where you were. I hate going to to the gym but I force myself to at least 3x a week otherwise I feel even worse after a couple weeks of slacking on it.

Was so much easier when I was in my 20s...I used to think my dad was just lazy when he talked about getting older and not having the energy but...the struggle is real

I hate gyms cause theyre depressing prisons that farm bacteria and diseases, and are full of judgemental assholes. Buy a mountain bike. Works all the main muscle groups, and you dont get the negative association that road bikers get.

I don’t foresee changing my prices for a long time, I think they’re fine as it is. I’m willing to pay more money than to work more hours. If I had an endless supply of air, I’ll have shorter blasting sessions and I get the work done quicker. Time is money.

Oh they’re pretty easy to disassemble. But you’ll never be able to buy the parts on the inside. Most are either only sold with assemblies, aren’t sold at all, or no longer available.

You can still buy the manual hubs brand new from Toyota. They’ll run you about $150 per

I wouldn't say I like the gym but it is easy to get quick resistance workouts there. I only go to the gym for a half hour at a time for the weights. Fuck treadmills and that BS, I get my cardio and 'fun' exercise playing hockey 1 - 2x a week.
I never understood the gym rats though, there are a few guys and girls I see there no matter when I go and they're there when I arrive and when I leave...it's like their home away from home. I don't understand it all.

Yeah just found them slightly less at Low Range Off Road.

    Will do that then.

I'm in no rush to convert yet, so I'll make sure everything is up to snuff before I tackle the job.

I read some of my first posts awhile back on TW and they were all about how I only wanted "1 inch lift max and keep it mostly stock"...yeah that worked out lol

    No shit I did too!

I've had a ton of vehicles, but none of them involved getting a lift.

I think I wanted a max of 1" to 1.5" and no more...now I'm converting my truck to a 4wd, have a sink for it, and a tent that lives on it 24/7 :mudding:

Why do you need to cut 4x4’s?

I remember when the "pro hormones" and "andro stack" supplements all became illegal in January some years ago. I could see some of the gym diehards become the incredibly shrinking men. It didn't take long for all that chemically assisted mass to disappear. It was very apparent they were all on the juice.

If I saw one like that for $220, it would be in the back of the Tacoma in a flash.
