Manual 04, 3.4 L. Transmission fluid capacity?

 

2.something quarts...if you buy one of those gallon jugs of Redline MT90 you'll have some left over.

 

Got a buddy in commercial heating/cooling that lives/works in the SF bay area; he'll sometimes send me a pic where he's in sub-freezing temps working on shit while outside its almost 100.

If you don't want to get the full gallon then 3 single quart sized bottles will do the trick. I think it's around 2.7 quarts. Doesn't take a whole lot

 

Pretty easy? Would guess the hardest part is getting the fuckin inter-twined skid plates off... lol.

Yeah it's just a drain and fill. Put new crush washers on the plugs. Remove the fill plug first before you drain it so you don't drain it and then realize the fill plug is stripped or stuck.

 

Last time I was under her I did everything except for the trans fluid.... t case, diffs, oil. Turns out Redline is hard to come by around here.

 

yeah I've never found Redline MT90 in any store...always gotta order it on Amazon

Speaking of which rumor has it there's a wild pig in the woods and I'm hoping to find it

 

I usually fill it until the oil dribbles out the fill hole. Always remove the fill plug yourself followed by the drain plug. You don’t want a stripped drain plug.
