2nd genner's can watch, 3rd genners will be at their local dealership being told by Toyota that all the issues they're having are "normal"

I had no idea that LP was so big, goes all the way up to San Luis Obispo it looks like. I'm about an hour and 15 min from the south end of it above LAScreen Shot 2019-08-27 at 1.24.42 PM.jpg

Gorman and Miller Jeep Trail are part of Los Padres, that's the only part of it I've really been to though. What campgrounds are up there? Any real trails or mostly just fire road?

Shit I just realized I'm going to be up in Grass Valley this weekend...I really need to plan a camping trip of my own here soon

Yeah I'd still be a good ways away; more like on the north end not far from Pismo.

I may not go as far and just hit the south end of Pfeiffer.

There are trails/fingers that either circle back around or stop with a dead end.

Went through some trails near Tassajara Springs last week when I posted pictures.

I have been wanting to go up to Mendocino County next month; was hoping some nor-cal members would join up.

If all goes the way we want it to my wife and I will hopefully be moving up north in the next year or two (probably 2). Either NorCal or out of state but further north. I just gotta get out of the desert and LA in general.

One of these days when I see my mom up in Monterey I'll hit you up and if I have my truck with me, maybe we can run some trails. Or grab a beer at the very least lol. I don't usually take my truck up there because my wife's car gets way better mileage.

Just mowed my lawn for the first time, that sucked. I'm outta practice apparently, doesn't help that the property management let it go to shit so I basically had to hack down a field. Even the flower beds were overrun with weeds and only had annuals in them so I just mowed those too.

That's right, I remember you mentioning that some months back.

I'm staying right where I am for awhile, unless I needed a drastic change and I say fuck it and move to Texas.

Thankfully not, I'd have given up earlier. Only been doing ranch work all week, don't need more manual labor haha. The mower just kept filling the bag and I really don't want to need a yard waste bin. So I just dumped it all back on the lawn and set the lawn mower to kill (mulch) and did the rest in a hurry. They just said it needed to be shorter not that it had to look good

ehh I wouldn't go back to Texas...grew up there for about 9 years as a kid. Really nice people there but just way too flat for my liking, I need the trails, mountains and scenery that the west has to offer.

I couldn't do Texas either. Neato to check out the cities, mostly just Austin. And that's about where I was done with it. Good unique foods there though, gotta be careful, a dude could become real fat real fast there.

All I do is mulch. The key is to do it every week so you dont have to cut too much off and leave clumps in the yard.

Yup, we lived in the suburbs of Austin and it was a really cool area but yeah...if there's one place in the US that you can get fat faster than you can in the midwest, it's Texas lol.
