I have a truck?

 

I use a touch up color match paint pen on my rock chips. Fiberglass pen/brush the rust away and clean the area first. I only do this because my truck was garaged until 2015. I'm holding on to the factory paint as long as possible.

Damn that reminds me. I need to get the project truck registered. College girls keep hitting my truck with their doors. I'm fine with brush/tree pinstripes and getting scratches on the trail but not the parking lot damage.

Yep works good for all kinds of stuff. Handy fucker it is. Used it to lift a tongue heavy trailer last week by myself.

 

I watched a fat girl slam her Ford Five Hundred door open yesterday and put a giant ass dent in a brand new Silverado. She then kept slamming it into the truck as she pulled herself out of the car with the door handle.

 

I see this a lot. This is why my trucks will have sliders. Not for fear of offroad. But fear of assholes

I thought you worked remotely for some reason, you have to commute every day? 50 min each way in my truck would def take it's toll on me

My dad spend 20+ years commuting 2.5 - 4 hours a day going to/from work, I don't know how he did it especially when we lived in LA. No wonder he drank a lot lol

I'm lucky I don't even have to get on the freeway to get to work the past couple years...just ~10 or 15 min city streets. I wake up at 8:30am and I'm at work by 9am haha

F that I would've left a note on the Silverado with photos of her car/license plate...As little love as I have for Chevys I hate people that do that stuff even more

 

I work from home 2x a week which really helps. Aside from odd errands and wheeling I don't really drive the Tacoma any more.

I drive the 250 or Lexus to work since both are way more comfortable and get better mileage than the taco. Not sure I want to move closer to work because my long term plan would be to figure out how I can work from home or run my own business and live in one of the smaller mountain towns instead
