That sucks dude...but I don't take it for granted living out here. I hike and camp a lot, practically every day off.

Taking my brother camping this Wednesday.

You'll have to shoot me a PM the day you come out here. SJ is only 40mins from me and my good friend lives out there.

 

I mean, I'd happily drive 7 hours to get to some badass trails but at the same time, I don't have to drive 7 hours to find some awesome trails lol.

Im a horrible RC car driver when it comes to fast ones. So a slow crawler is more my style lol

 

Will do, we're actually planning on being up there in mid-Oct for the baby shower at her aunt and uncle's place in San Jose, but as of right now it'll probably just be a quick Sat/Sun thing. If I can manage to get another day or two off work though I'll try and bring my truck up and maybe we can hit up Hollister.

We always do xmas in Santa Cruz too with her family, last year I drove my truck up. Might be able to do it then come xmas time this year

Small lift, good tires, rear locker and a winch will probably get you though most that trail as long as you dont minf body damage

 

Certainly, if you want to take the bypasses safely that's a great little setup

 

The DED guys have taken some stock / very slightly modified stuff though things you dont think they should be on and they gotten through. Granted they drive with complete disregard for mechanical well being

Since my girl is in school again, it kind of leaves me to be more flexible to do whatever I want.

Unfortunately, I've been using the big ass Tepui all for myself these last 3 camping trips lol she's pretty jealous.

 

true you can overcome quite a bit when you don't mind breaking shit and money/time for repairs is of no real consequence, but that's not usually the case for most of us lol.
