I love big metropolitan cities. Grown up around them my whole life. I spent a lot of summers in San Francisco and Manhattan. I was born in Oakland, and I’m there all the time. Hell I was about to move to NYC if I got into NYU.

My school has about 30,000 people. Big difference from my private high school of 1,000.

People give the SF Bay shit but it’s a beautiful place. You can drive 30 minutes West and be at the Pacific, two hours North and be in the Mountains, four hours East and be in the snow and the Sierra-Nevada, and four hours South and be in the desert. It’s really centrally located.

I've done a mod or two
I used to be like Tyler, then I realized after living in a small town close to a medium city that being closer to rural is just way easier, laid back, healthier. I can't do big cities anymore even though I love to explore them. Can't wait to be away from so many god damn people again, I miss the rolling hills of the palouse. They separate you from things without all of the distance, I want my damn wheat fields back

I almost went to CSU in Fort Collins. They have about 30,000 students also. But ended up deciding that was too many people for me, plus I like the idea of small class sizes.

I've only seen pictures, but I would agree that the SF Bay looks pretty amazing. And the amount of variety you guys have out there in terms of different scenery is really cool. Its either forests or desert where I'm at.
