Starting to welcome the idea of a newer truck and payments, though I like not having any debt aside from my mortgage...plus the new truck may not fit so well with my plan of eventually quitting my job and trying to start a business buuuuuut

Also, I wouldn't be using it cept to tow with as-is, I've been driving the LS400 to work since it's 110-115 mi round trip depending on the route. I squeezed 25mpg out of the last tank, which is baller

thats the same truck my cousin has in TN for pulling his trailer home and the turbo just died. 6k is what the shop was telling him. To replace it is not so easy, even if you do it yourself. Just food for thought

Shop told him they have to pull the engine to fix the turbo, not sure if thats true or not. They also said it would run fine without the turbo. It did pull that big ass trailer of his around the US for 6 months no problem though.

Well I gotta give CA some credit on this one...CA is one of only 6 states that will pay 60 - 70% of a person's salary while they are taking time off work for family leave, up to 6 weeks. My company doesn't pay for it so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take more than a few days off with my paid vacation hours.

I'll take a G37 automatic like this this any day. I'm sure the new one will do better.

Battle of the consonants in the parking lot at work today...FRS vs Z.
My nephew has one exactly like the Z. He hit a deer last Fall: dented hood and crushed front bumper cover. Ready...$8500.00 to replace them and match the paint.

Incorrect :anonymous: Gtr interior is trash, but the exterior looks much more aggressive. The infitini looks like a sedan turned sport

I dunno, while the R35 is competitive, I think it looks like a modern watered down version of the R34 which actually looked aggressive

Idk, the r34 has too many lines typical of a 90s design. Both the r35 and that infiniti are distinctly 21st century design, but the r35 is a stand-alone performance coupe while that infiniti borrows body panels from its other sedans.

Yeah the Infiniti is just a redesign of a coupe for sure, but it started as a nice coupe. The R35 GT-R while more modern than the R34, just looks cheap by comparison to either of them. For being the first GT-R officially offered in the US it has always been a visual disappointment, just looks like a G series had a baby with an R33 and all they decided to keep were the taillights.

Yea never been in love with the r35 visually but it’s not a throw away. I’ll own one someday just because it’s a numbers car, but the lines are too reminiscent of the z350/370

They focused hard on the performance aspect over exterior and especially interior. I’ll take any stock japanese car that walks laps around german over engineered BS

I'll be the 1st to say that I've never seen Nissan really spend money on fabric or leatherette. Though they love to over engineer their engines -- to the point where it drove them into bankruptcy in the late 1990s.

That's not so hot. On the other hand I've averaged $700/mo in repairs on my 6.0l F250 since I bought it which isn't so hot either. My first choice would be a 2011+ 6.7l powerstroke even though it has that emissions bullshit with the DEF

DEF is easy at least, the more power you make, the more you spray. Sometimes the nozzles need to be replaced and sometimes the pumps do

Plus I'd rather be making payments on a truck than crying halfway to Moab in the middle of a big trip

Buy a Chrysler. It’ll leave you crying every time you start it and something. New breaks
