Thats too funny. It makes sense, those with a false sense of security in a 4x4 that they never use 4x4 and those that are scared shitless in the civic haha.
So I take it you spent time skiing at Dodge Ridge. We have a cabin in Twain Hearte and were up there every weekend during the winter. Lots of weekends in the summer as well. I love it up there. Shitty the Darnells went up in flames

Yep Dodge Ridge in winter, Pinecrest in summers.

When I was in HS, there was still the ONE signal downtown (class of... '97...), so our main entertainment was driving into "the city" (Modesto, lol).

I remember the one signal. It all changed when they redid that whole thing and put the walmart etc. i miss the old movie theatre. But its good for the people who live there not having to drive down to oakdale or modesto. Pinecrest is gorgeous. I was supposed to be up there all week, but my cat got sick. Guess im lucky cause i hear the smoke is horrendous up there right now

They have a Lowes now too, so you know they've hit the big time.

My good friend worked at Cinema 5, actually my wife did, too. Let's just say that if you thought you were hiding in the back row doing what teenagers do, you weren't, lol...

Timber Hills shopping center; where they took out the timber AND the hill...

Ever hit up the Father's Day Fly in? I'm there pretty much every year.

Maybe “full” is too broad. Just a decent socket set and some basic hand tools.

I've never had the headliner down on the Tacoma so Im shooting blind here.

I assumed there was a gap between the Sheetmetal of the roof and the headliner.

Yeah, Executive Sweet (B-25) is usually there giving rides. They also have the local instructors giving rides in their 172's (I took my flight lessons form them). They also have a pretty good contingent of warbirds flying Chinese made Yak18's. This year they had I think 9 of them (most I've ever seen) doing formation flying, high speed passes, opposing passes etc... pretty cool.

I remember many years ago they had 3 P-51s and a few other WWII aircraft.

It's no Oshkosh, but it beats sitting at home.

Well, you don't *have* to... Just move to another state under an assumed name and pay cash for everything in the future.
