id like to be able to do long trips without drone. it drones like a mofo now

Drone is annoying as hell, love a loud exhaust but a loud exhaust doesn't have to drone

 

it doesnt. the dirty deeds exhaust i hear wonderful things.. but the cost is insane.


so highlander muffler with a cutout before it will do just fine. hell probably be quieter than stock when closed (highlander is 300hp, muffler shouldnt hurt 4.7 performance)

 

i have the crazy idea (since the muffler is narrower than OEM) to run the pipe straight back with the cutout.. and when the cutout is closed have the muffler off to the side.. so open is a straight shot to the tail pipe (dumping under the truck just makes it too loud inside), should have enough room to make it work....

 

Go for it, sounds like a home brew version of what my buddy's M3 has.

 

its the homebrew version of a varex muffler... only it'll be OEM level quiet

 

Maybe, I don't know jack about any new phones...don't need anything fancy just a basic smart phone. Gonna have to go to Sprint tomorrow and see what they have

 

And it won't vibrate and rattle like a Varex. What you're describing is actually exactly what the M3 has, it just uses a cutout to bypass the mufflers and use the inside set of exhaust tips

 

yup. ive been dreaming it up for a while.. tundra will be prototype, taco will get a revised setup. (likely will make use of oval exhaust)

I miss the days when you got a new phone every couple years as part of your cell phone plan

 

i just get a hand me down from my father every year since his employer gives him a new iphone every year... if that wasnt a thing, i would likely be using a flip phone

 

I get a upgrade every 30 months but I don’t understand how that’s worth it because I think you still need to pay

 

dump under the bed so it sounds louder in the truck than it does outside

 

its insanely loud as it is without the tailpipe. inside. like hurt ears level at full throttle. and thats with cats and shitty stock manifolds

i just like sleepers. if i can make it quiet and unassuming in regular use im going to.. flip a switch and its loud obnoxious.


also my neighbors hate the tundras noise. so id like to be considerate since im usually coming home around 1 am on the weekends
