I understand that emission laws are a necessary evil in populated cities like LA, SF, and other big cities here in CA...without them we would be living in a perpetual cloud of thick smog (thicker than we already do). And the places I love to wheel and explore and enjoy the beauty of nature would likely suffer greatly for it. But that being said, like I mentioned we already have the strictest emissions in the country and the last thing I want is for that to get even worse. Being taxed into oblivion for driving a gasoline vehicle is where we are headed if someone doesn't put a stop to it.

Anyway I'm probably treading on thin ice here so I'll leave it at that lol

but you cannot move them from inside the truck!
    taxes are the thing.

we were suppose to get rid of emissions testing this year but chicago bitch enough that its staying.. we have a 95% passing rate. we dont need it anymore and its an unnecessary cost to the state and a burden for us.

I see both sides of it to be honest. If they ditch emissions rules completely it could have a negative impact on the quality of life for people living in the city. It's really more of a population problem if you think about. But, we can't regulate people breeding like we can regulate emissions lol. China tried that and it didn't work out so well.

yea its a population issue. honestly i was surprised how many piles of shit i saw driving around in cali when i was in LA. alot of the cars out there would never be on the road out here.

Well yeah you guys have something called severe weather out there lol. A lot of the jalopies putting around out here wouldn't survive one winter in the midwest. Surprisingly CA doesn't have safety inspections either. There's laws against things like broken tail lights and stuff, but no annual inspections to look for it.

hmm come to think of it my girlfriend is severly disappointed in her jeeps heating performance. then again her last car ran in the red when it was driving around. a cracked head will do that.

My friend, who was the same age as me, asked me about a year ago to go to the gas station with her to get gas. I asked her why, she said:

“I have no idea how to put gas in a car.”
