Have a buddy looking for a tacoma here in Ca. What are you selling?

 

Yes, but it's worth it. I wouldn't worry about it renting a uhaul to use once, but if you're buying s trailer you will actually use you need them. Pulling isn't the problem with a Tacoma, it's stopping

 

They're helpful, but you have to have a place to put it, luckily my dad doesn't ever really need it. I don't always need it either but it holds more than the taco and is easier to load if I need to buy building supplies or engines or furniture.

 

I have a buddy in San Diego that is kinda wanting to sell his taco. Pm me if you think your buddy would be interested and you want details

No idea honestly, can't be too much though. Also random, but being a 5 lug does your truck have smaller brakes then a 6? Never thought of that before

They're better than nothing. I hauled my Honda Civic home on a dolly with surge brakes and I didn't feel a thing. I was pushing 3,600 pounds. On the flip side, when I towed my toolbox home on a flatbed - I could feel everything and all that weight behind me because it was unbraked.

 

I gathered a crowd around me at Home Depot when I was trying to return the trailer by backing it into the space. I gave up and just unhitched it and moved it back by hand. I didn't realize how light it was.

I didn't mean like that, reversing a trailer is cake once you understand how to chase it. I meant reversing with surge brakes, because they apply

Oh right. Reversing a trailer is really an art, I couldn't do it if my life depended on it.
