    Might be from one of the hoses designated to the heater core then?
    Idk just thinking that because it only happens when you use the heater

    its not bad at all! (dug everything out to the core)
    until you have to reassemble it all :mad: with NO fucks

    I could be way off but whenever I look up coolant leak with heater on, all I get are articles about the heater core. But they all mention coolant leaking inside the cab, so maybe it's a hose running to/from the core

    I honestly did see an improvement in pickup for sure. Probably has a lot to do with the fact that my motor is struggling to move my truck to being with lol. Gains aren't astronomical though

    as far as i know the summer gremlin rattle i had is gone now that its not super hot and no need for the A/C which had an impact on my situation

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    It's a really easy job on 1st Gen Tacomas. Takes maybe 45 minutes to pull the dash. Take another 30 minutes to change the core. The longest part is probably draining the fluid.
