    I need financial advice.

It has to be a simple question but I can't seem to wrap my brain around it.

My stocks are averaging +$500 per day. I'm buying a house and selling stocks to get the down payment. So do I sell as many stocks as I can to get the highest down payment and the lowest monthly payment or sell just enough stocks to get approved for the loan? I can't seem to figure that out... but I have figured out if I post this question on this forum politics won't get involved ;)

The stocks were earned through a work program that I didn't even know existed in the company I worked for. I found out decades later I had $90K in stocks. It has more than doubled since then, less than a decade later. During the same time my neighbor bought his house at $220K, it's in escrow right now at $468K.

Big numbers for a former uncertified mechanic like myself which is probably why I can't figure it out.

Around 10% at the end of the year. Doesn't matter if I sell 10 stocks 10 different times or 100 stocks at once - 10% of the total.

Early withdrawal? This isn’t a retirement account I think. If it’s just stocks you sell and pay the tax. Done

all i read was it was an employer something or other
they often set those up so its advantageous to them corporate taxes and you pay the tax on later

my father got stocks in his company just for being an employee. its his. he can sell whenever.

now if those stocks are part of a 401k plan then its not advisable to sell it all and use it as a down payment.. because you'll pay alot for early removal. (unless ofcourse your old enough to collect from it.)

If you only have 200K ? in an investment account and are averaging $500 a day ( $180,000 Annually ) why would you move it anywhere./ Houses in CA let alone elsewhere never get that kind of return. Ride the wave.[/QUOTE]
