    New avatar, who dis?

My first car broken into was my Corolla while I was living in Chicago.

I had the circular "residue" left by the suction cup on my Garmin GPS; they broke my passenger side window and took my flash light, change, gps charger, and I think a USB cable or two.

Second time was because I left my window only barely open; happened at Target. When I finally got to watch the footage of my truck getting broken into, I saw that the perps were able to get in by pulling back the side window enough to stick their arm in it and unlock it. They stole my old ipod, the faceplate of my stereo, my m-frame sunglasses (that I actually had with me in Iraq, was fucking pissed), my ciggs, flash light, and other odds and ends.

Fortunately, USAA took care of me. The payout was really nice especially for the second break in; I was paid out for the entire cost of the stereo, the cost of a current generation ipod, new sunglasses, etc. minus my ciggs, lighter, and flashlight and cables.

Even if they didn't take much, someone invaded your personal space and is aware of other things they may want later.

    Be on high alert.

I had a friend do that with my car several years ago, took it for a joyride...I was so fucking pissed, almost reported it stolen on him just to get him hit with a GTA charge lol.

You'd have to know him to understand why it wasn't cool...he was, shall we say...eccentric. I could hear him banging it off the rev limiter a half mile up the street

That's when you're in the fun stage of meth addiction, the not so fun stage usually has the opposite effects
