Walking back from class I see a girl pulling a skateboard with an empty takeout container and a jacket with caution tape tied to the trucks she stole from a construction site.

    I wish I took a picture.

Neither, after many years of being fine together she lost her shit and attacked one of the other dogs and ripped his ear off :(

That happened to my mom and our dog when she was walking her one day, neighbor's Lab went ballistic and chased/bit our dog on the tail which triggered a series of events (blood disease and what not) that led her being put down less than a year later. She was getting old which didn't help though

    Sorry to hear that

I think pits are okay if they arent living with other dogs or children. But they tend to have short tempers whenever they get annoyed, which is why I gotta ask "why" whenever I hear of people bringing home a new pit thats gonna be living with children.

I used to help out a pet rescue shelter doing photos of the dogs to help with adoption for a couple years (my photo agent at the time was a big time rescue person and it put me on good terms with her, lol). But I also enjoyed doing it. 90% of the dogs were all of the pit bull terrier variety, and the rest were usually Chihuahuas. I'm telling you the only time I ever felt threatened being around any of them was when it was an angry Chihuahua. Hell hath no fury I tell you. The pit bulls were some of the nicest and most loving dogs I worked with.

Of course you have to not be dumb and realize that some of them come from abusive backgrounds, so you don't just reach out and try and touch the head of one without gauging it's mood and personality first.

Ryan would be the worst pita protester. He'll just stand there not trying to stop the trucks or anything. But which is why I'll call him the best cause he won't get run over.

She's been fine for many years with the other dogs and the gf's neighbors kids, and is still getting on fine with the dogs outside of that one incident... but damn.

it's been hell on her because she has had to go out of the way to keep those 2 dogs specifically apart just in case until the pup gets rehomed.
