Nah its the opposite. Florida and the rest of the southeast is getting filled with dumb northerners who cant whether out a hurricane, then loose their minds when they realize Florida=lots of hurricanes.

Fixed the emergency brake on the flatbed. I didn't know much about drum brakes before today and had to go through some videos to adjust things.
I needed the cables from @Tour991 since no amount of PB blaster would fix the seized cables. Just glad it wasn't more serious than that. The truck had a full rear brake job prior to it's mud pit accident which was surprising.

If that thing pops were all screwed. Living closer to it just means youll get to escape the misery faster via death.

The parts are starting to come in and they're starting to create a nice stacked pile if you know what I mean. The anticipation is killing me, lol.

I asked the wife if it'd "be cool if I ordered some parts? Maybe a few hundred bucks cough cough".

"Yes that sounds great, make the truck how you want it."

So when is she gonna realize that pile is bigger than a few hundred bucks? LMAO!

I have about a third of the parts so far and I still haven't ordered the only part I actually need (water pump).

I pick and choose my battles and in this situation I'd rather ask for forgiveness than for permission. ;)

She's lucky though because I'm actually a pretty cheap SOB. No Kings, no long travel, not even any fiberglass. But yeah, it's more than "a few hundred bucks".

Fuck my life. How am I going to get this back home? I’m in the parking lot of a grocery in downtown San Francisco.

I drove ten feet into the road before it started wobbling.

I've got 2 extra ones, on my LCA's, that do wobble but at least intact.

Let me know if you need one of them.
