Finally got a new phone last night, didn't want to lease one and didn't want to spend several hundred to a grand on a freakin phone so I got an LG Stylo 5, was about $300 out the door. So far it's a million times better than my old LG G5, slightly less memory but at least the battery isn't dead in 2 hours anymore.

Were a few even cheaper smart phone options but this one had the best battery life reviews of the less expensive models

always a relief to not have to worry about dragging a charger around or having your phone die unexpectedly

    What company you with?

I settled with switching over to T Mobile (will switch at the end of the month).

Keeping the girl-friend/w.e.'s Galaxy S9 and she's going to get herself an iPhone 11 Pro.

I'll never own an iPhone...even if it were free.

Even worse with my old phone was that the charging port was partially broken so the only way I could charge it was to very delicately put the charger on, or use a rubber band to hold it in place. Otherwise it would just fall out lol. So I was never able to charge it in my truck or on the go

I'm with Sprint, my wife and I are on a joint plan. I forget what the details of our plan are but it's a really good one and only cost us about $60/each per month. Much better than the Verizon plan I had before price-wise

I will never own an iPhone either, I use Mac computers exclusively but their phones are just too expensive and way too damn fragile from what I can tell.

Eh. After the disaster that was my stylo 2, I will never own another LG phone. Went through 2 of em, both crapped out from the same reboot loop issue that LG's are famous for. Also after a year they quit allowing me to use wi-fi.
