FEQ are cheap Chinese auto crap. They won't go in my vehicles, unless a last resort or something. Quick Google search showed lots and lots of complaints. Even if someone hasn't broke one, or even a hundred people run em and haven't broke one, doesnt change it from being cheap crap.

My FEQ on the pass side has been running great for 13 months, lots of trails :notsure: That's my only experience with them so far though

I would trust it more than the cheaper ones AutoZone sells but still put it under a OEM reman for sure. Namely I think the boots that FEQ uses are better than the other aftermarket ones. Who knows maybe I've just gotten lucky with it

Really it just comes down to...either spend the coin on an OEM new/reman axle or roll the dice on the questionable quality of aftermarket brands. Lifetime warranties are nice and all but having to change out axles gets old when they don't last very long.

I hear ya and appreciate your experience, if I don't have direct experience with something I have to get as much info as I can and reviews and trust others input and stuff that have owned and torn down and dissected to investigate, etc.
There are plenty of things manufactured well in China, we just can't seem to get a taco axle yet

Better not! Change it when it breaks! :D on the other side of this though, when the stresses in the drive train build up, you want that CV to blow not anything in the diff. But I think even with the strength and quality of the OEM cv they should be the link to fail.
Doesn't matter what you run to me, as long as your expectations of whatever you run are in line with demonstrated results.
@eon_blue and I'll bet eon is getting better and better at wheeling too. Lots of trail carnage really can be avoided, at least in hind sight it seems that way

A green terminal block would be ground. A green contact block is NO. IMG_20191011_162131922.jpg

Can't wait for the snow to start hitting the mountains down here, though with the baby coming in a few months I don't think I will be as free to wheel as I have been in years past. But on the plus side I can plan for better trips further out in advance rather than hitting the same trails every weekend like I have been.
