    Rebuild/reboot or replacing?

    That's quite the preload too.

Well, I’ve got to fix the FUBAR ball joint bolts first. Haha

As for the boots, it looks like the hose clamp came off which is why the grease slung everywhere. I can’t see any damage in the boot.

It needs a lot of suspension and brake work but that’s a job for another day. I don’t have time nor money to do it right now. I just need it drivable.

Hey, at least you've got pristine UCA's with bushings intact and splash guards.

The UCA’s I painstakingly sandblasted and stripped all the ugly corroded black coating. I used Silver wheel paint on ‘em.

Sometimes I regret not doing them in Red.

The splash guards are made by @cnote4l — they’re some good shit.

Why are your brake pads wearing unevenly?

I was told the pistons are seized. This is why they went out at only 30k miles.

That's 1 more hammer than I own lol

When the brass punches arrived, I went out to Lowes to buy a hammer dedicated to those cone washers.

Didn't want to go too heavy, or too light, and 2.5lb was perfect.

I considered replacing the cone washers but at $5-$6 EACH, I'm like fuck that.

I get to rebuild those stupid manual hubs again. Fixing the pawl and clutch to the spring is such a royal pain in the ass.

If you're including those push pins/etc. then count me in for a set.

One side is trashed, the other side is missing.

Power Stop. I’m going to rebuild them I don’t have money for new calipers.

Another day though. They still stop fine and I don’t have time.

    The heck?

What happened, I thought you bought new ones?

@Wulf has dibs on my spare set that I just disassembled and painted. Just need to assemble them once my Redline CV2 grease arrives.

Wrong phrasing. I mean I have to reassemble them all over again because I tore it apart removing the CV axle. They’re brand new OEM Toyota Manual hubs when I installed them, they have 30k now.
