The dad abandoned the son. Probably just left to the store for a pack of smokes

reminder to always always always use jack stands when using a floor jack or bottle jack.

It's been a year since my buddy was killed when the floor and bottle jack he was using to work on his jeep failed and it crushed him to death. Was helping clean out the garage yesterday and we decided to throw all the jacks away since nobody could remember which ones had been the ones to fail.

That’s a bold move, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off.

Man that's rough, good reminder though. See some sketchy jacking methods on this site from time to time

if you're talking about this one,

    upload_2019-10-14_11-45-56.jpg it is.

TIP: Be sure to monitor when charging. When it is fully charged the power button will go from red to green. DO NOT leave it plugged in after charge cycle is complete. I forgot about one of them a few times to and the damn battery life sucks now.

he was a good dude who made a dumb mistake for something that would have just been a quick project. I didn't realize how much i still missed him til we were going through his stuff and talking about him yesterday.

had to dip out for a while because it got too damn dusty

Imagine you're a tech and you're asked to perform work on a customer's tailgate latch/etc.

But when you go to remove the panel directly behind the handle, you find this -

    20191014_092356.jpg

Tech took some time to try and scrape out some bedliner with a pick but there are too many screws and the stuff is too thick to scrape out.

Remove your screws/bolts in your bed before you get that shit bed lined.

He spotted me through stuff I would have never made alone and was always patient about it. Lots of good advice and BSing over the years too.

    RIP Shaun :(
