Are you going to gusset your spindles while you're getting things ready for swapping?

 

You're the second person to ask; I don't really think I need them but I'll probably do it anyway.

Right now, door handle is a priority.

 

speaking of avatars, i have about 5 weeks or so until my current one is no longer unique to me and will need to purpose a different one

 

Pick up some extra interior body panel clips for the door, those will break when you pry the panel off. Freakin parts store sells them for like $2 each, you can get a big bag of them on Amazon for 5 or 10 bucks

 

And some trim removal tools

 

I never used one but if I ever have to do it again I'll grab the trim remover tool set that harbor freight sells for cheap

 

Yeah I'll need to find the right part; I broke like 3-4 when I replaced my speakers.

 

Still have the tool I've used for like 10 cars...it's been with me over 8-9 years.

 

Welcome to the club brother. Anyone who's had a 1st Gen Tacoma, for any amount of time, has had to replace a handle.. or 2... or 3.
