Powerwall is what I would like ideally, since we can run essentially for free at night and produce power during the day. It’s just it’s about $12k installed.

I’m looking for something in the $1,000 range not $12k haha. The generator switchgear costs $300, which leaves my budget at $700 for a 7,500 watt generator.
