i got lost in the shuffle here tonight is all

 

is that underneath the truck?
that sounds like it will be seriously in my way doing this in this area
i will get under there and look for it (tomorrow)
not jacking it up under the LCA

would i slide the jack underneath the front bumper to get to that spot

 

As mentioned, front cross-member. Then, jack stands on frame and remove tire for easy access to the area you plan on blasting.

Yes. It’s right in front of the front differential.

 

i don't think i need to remove the tire yet, its not bad in that area, just behind it by the front drain hole

 

You can jack it from just the control arm to get it higher and then use s jack stand

 

Or just buy some ramps... as long as tge tire doesnt gotta come off ramps work great

 

3” body lift will let you access the frame so much easier lmaooo

 

3" body lifts are a massive safety issue in an accident... 1" is the most id ever even consider running

 

i was thinking the ramps will make it too high for my arm to safely reach underneath with blast gun, i would be over stretching

 

I used anti seize and torque wrench when I did my lbj last fall. Them fuckers are still in there tight

 

1” polymer spacers. Would help stop some rubbing with 33” for some guy.
Maybe even allow you to put a taller shock under the bed

 

ramps arnt that tall. You can get it even taller with a jack.
