Does anyone know if anyone makes a "sport" hood that does not require hood pins? I like the look but dont want to have to deal with hood pins and i dont think 4runner sport hoods would work.

Dont really have the time to do all the body work to make it look how i would want.

You mean like with a scoop on the hood? @1997tacomav6 has a write up on how to make a functional hood scoop on our trucks, his came out nice

Yes, ill take a look at it and see if that something i could do and be happy with the outcome.

 

Something I'd like to do in the future when my more pressing mods/maintenance things are done. But a functional hood scoop would be nice for additional air flow right on top of the supercharger

Yea and when i do my fender glass i think it will complete the look on the front end im going for. I also want to get rid of my Trail Gear Stinger bumper and do something without a stinger but still retain a spot for a winch.

 

well turns out the squelching sound I thought was my LCA bushings must have actually been the Kings...noise is no longer there since I put the 5100s back on. That's good to know, easier to fix at least. I wonder if maybe I fucked up the bearing install when I changed them out and that's what caused it. Oh well the rebuild should take care of it.

Still getting creaking though when hitting speed bumps/dips in the road so the LCAs are making some noise, just not nearly as bad. Unless maybe its the UCAs. Some bushing somewhere
