the only thing flaky is the bad peeling paint it seems, and it blows right off with the air pressure from the blast gun

 

but i think i damaged the undercoating under the cab with ricocheting sand from the blast gun near the top

 

Just touch it up with black paint.

 

Tell that to my idiot buddy ( my girlfriends brother...)

 

i was going to get it re-undercoated with a paint restore package since it is extremely brittle after 22 years and has some various new chipping in it i recently discovered

but i have to touch it up for now

I'll do that for the taco when I get there. The cruiser only runs a sub amp. It's relearning it's idle OBDI style.... Trial and error haha. Cold engine, cold outside, and if it wasn't an inline 6 it would've died, it's currently running at 200rpm

All the damn bolts are discontinued. I’m going to have to have new spindle bolts custom made because the originals are fucked after getting them out

 

Well you don’t see these 4runner hoods cut in like this very much because it’s definitely a project to make it come out correctly.
