I believe it man. What's tough is I really really like being self employed and being in control of my time

The place that hired me is having problems finding people that want to work. Seems like there’s more and more lacy people getting out of bed in the morning lol

It's a workers dream right now. Pay is only going up more and more as the trades try to get more workers into their field. They're shorthanded and many times will pay a 5k+ signing bonus, contingent on staying 6 months or a year, whatever. Point is, it's a tradesman's dream job market right now

I thought self employed would be cool. But the amount of money it takes to start a company with everything you need and pay yourself a good amount is alot.
You need to have a large client base to make any profit.

One guy turned in his 2 weeks notice yesterday. My brother works for the same company. They gave him a raise 3 months in.

Also the cost of living here is triple then there.
I would need a higher profit margin then you

Just master the skill part of it. Make sure they set you up with the guy that's good to train with, not the cool fun guy. Get good with HVAC and you're highly desired employee for as long as you want. Just learn all the details and stuff you can. The shiz you learn to work with electricity and refrigeration/hvac/etc. is some of the coolest physics stuff on our planet man. It really is fascinating
