Meh. I do a lot of driving, for something you always use when you use the truck I don’t mind to spend a lot of money on something decent.

Anything that separates you from the ground (shoes, mattresses, chairs, seats, etc) rule of thumb don’t cheap out on.

I bought a Herman Miller Aeron office chair just because I know they’re built to last, and they won’t kill my back. They’re pricey but it’s worth it for something I use everyday.

 

I guess, for the 25ish k I’ve done between the two truck this year I still don’t think it’s worth it


I ask so think the 99’s seats are better than the 02’s. Smooth> fuzzy cloth

 

Good lord, what cost that much? I don’t think I’ve ever spent that much on my truck, even with my supercharger.

I spent $450 on a used one 9 years ago. Still in great shape, and worth every penny IMO.

I have a fully loaded one I got from an office liquidator. It came from Apple, it has the inventory asset tag on the bottom. Mine is fully loaded with all the adjustments, I think it retailed for $1,600? I paid $450 too. It was from 2004 according to the tag, still looks brand new.

Nice! I wish mine had the adjustable height arm rests, that's the one feature I really miss. If your chair is from 2004 you might want to check the front foam under the mesh. Mine started falling apart a couple years ago and it made a surprising amount of difference.

Yeah, mine is like falling apart although you don't really notice it. Is that something you can replace?

 

I do 20k a year in my taco. Stock seats are fine for me. I dont get the point of putting in fancy racing buckets or corbeaus or whatever in a 15+ year old vehicle thats used as a daily.
