Weirdo show my friend told me to watch. Honestly, I'm not really into anime, but it was so outlandishly weird and funny I watched it all in like a week.

    My brother watches anime.

I’m lost at the plot lines. The only anime I ever watched was when I was in elementary school. Pokémon... and eureka seven on toonami because it was on before bed time. Lol

Yeah, they lose me sometimes too, but I'm finding out that the alltime anime classics are pretty solid. Like Neon Genesis Evangelion (admittedly I needed help understanding the ending), Death Note, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and InuYasha. Theyre all more grown up versions of stuff I'd watch as a kid like Pokemon, Code Lyoko, YuGiOh and DbZ (which I really didn't like much)

Death Note is a great show to get you interested

Also, I picked out a seat, still deciding if I want a lumbar adjuster and heater...

    Definitely was.

My only saving grace was sharing a room in a house that was rented by my bestfriends older brother.

For the first few weeks it was really shitty; I was living out of a backpack and a trash bag full of clothes. It started out as "staying the night" at friends houses until it got to that awkward point when parents would ask me "when are you going home?"

It was really embarrassing trying to skip around the subject, and to retain any friendships, I'd leave and try to stay at someone else's house for a few days.

But I scored a job all thanks to the ROP retail sales class I was taking in high school. That was the beginning of my being an independent person.

So the retail sales class was basically you working for 3-4hrs a day for nothing more than school credit. We worked at Toys R Us.

I was the only one stupid enough to show up at 4am for black Friday and because of that I was offered a job. My bestfriend later got hired as well but it wasn't until a month or two later.

What's funny is, at that job, I became the district's youngest "world leader" which was a supervisor position for a specific department. I was in charge of the R zone.

That lasted throughout high school until I got financial aid/etc and went to UC Davis for a year. School wasn't for me so I joined the corps which was completely against my dad's wishes.

Anyway, getting kicked out was for the better.

Go from growing up with a lot of different people from different backgrounds on military bases to, your parents split up at 11 and you end up with your mom and 2 younger siblings. From there we were broke/poor and it was only a matter of time where my mom got sick of my crap.

Dad lived in TX and we were living in CA. Sure I could've moved with him but I thought I knew everything like an idiot.

If people saw me now but didn't know where I've come from, they'd assume I didn't know better or never had to struggle. I guess that's why I got rid of one of the Corvettes and have slowly been downsizing in life. I want the simple things again.

Oh and, this was while living in Salinas (where I'm living at again). Its a gang ridden city and if you're broke and Hispanic, you're likely to end up dead, in jail, or in a gang only to end up dead or in jail.

Odds were against me especially living in the east side back then.
