Varget was even worse for me.

RL15 is my go to especially for AR's, and hell even slightly bigger calibers like .308

    I love H1000 though.

Everything Ive done with Varget is extremely similar with 4064. I think they were made to compete with eachother. I can pretty much use them interchangeably.

    Well shit that's convenient.

When I've found one that works, I've been fortunate enough to go back to the same gun shop and buy the remaining powder (or as much as I could afford lol) from the same batch for the most consistent results.

I haven't shot in quite some time, and I figured I need to do something about unloading +10-12lbs of RL15, some +10lbs of H1000, and other misc. powders.

I'm keeping my primers though; I remember over 2-3 years ago, Federal had stopped putting out Federal Gold Medal Match 210M and 215M primers and people were selling their stock for a killing. I still have stuff that was found in the white box with blue stripes.

I remember sending Miguel pics of a few hundred thousand primers I have in storage...not to mention a ton of ammo lol

Id keep it. Sealed powder is good forever as far as Im concerned. I like CCI primers. Slightly thicker cups prevents slam fires in the garands, although Ive used winchester primers with no issues too.

CCI is great for plinking, stupid cheap.

I use Remington Benchrest primers (the orange/green box) for "accurate" AR ammo. Though I heard they're prone to slam fire, I never had an issue.

Too bad you're not in CA, I'd offer you some of my surplus for cheap.

Im just getting back into it. I havent shot competitively since I aged out of the junior division 4 years ago. Its Ieen like 2 years since Ive touched the reloading press haha. This new to me K98 has reminded me how danged fun High Power shooting is. I loved the looks people were giving me at the range last week when I put my shooting coat on and laid down instead of using the benches like a normal human being haha.

Leaving CA wouldn't be an issue.

Coming into CA is an issue if it's ammo; reloading supplies is ok though.

Can't ship, or at least not for cheap due to them being hazardous material.

Last time I shot competitively was URSA...some 5-6 years ago?

Afterward, I just stuck to teaching people long range, and slowly as laws got worse, less people were shooting and I was shooting alone.

The way I see it, better enjoy it while I can. The VA governor said he wants to make the states gun laws "better" than CA or NY now that both houses are under his control. Total semi auto ban is on the line for January among other things. Can only imagine its gonna get our governor thinking of doing the same.

USPS doesn't seem to care. My mailbox smells like gasoline from the injectors that @Running Man mailed to me in a zip lock bag.

I'm surprised DHS hasn't shown up at his house

Time in essence is fake and was created by use humans to manage our days, yes. I'm referring to how much has passed in such a short-feeling duration. Heard it only gets faster as we age too
