Working on un fatassing myself again. I've been losing 1lb a month but need to get back into lifting and cardio. Signed up for a 5K mud run in June and I would like to be able to manage most of the obstacles if possible

cardio is one thing I can't bring myself to do, other than hockey I guess. But cardio just for the sake of doing cardio just sounds so...ugh

I really should do it though because my endurance lately is pretty bad.

    oooof

    harsh truth.

I was down below 200lb when I counted every calorie and did meal preps...but it wasn't sustainable and I didn't change my habits so as soon as I stopped I gained most of the weight back

well the one where they cut out part of your stomach out or whatever to make it smaller can help...even if you want to eat a lot you physically can't (not as much as you used to anyway), and you get full faster. But yeah even if you still eat nothing but junk you'll put on weight and be unwell

I know some people that got that, they lost a ton in the first year, but slowly are gaining it back. I don’t know if the stomach grows and stretches back out or what, but it’s definitely happening

Well like you said, if they don't change their habits especially regarding what you eat and how active you are, then you'll still gain weight even with a smaller stomach. The smaller stomach just makes it so you get full much more quickly and don't feel the need to eat 'as much'
