You've never driven an auto 4cyl, plus the supercharger. Gas mileage increases as load decreases regardless of higher RPM. You looked at half the equation, the math says it would be very reasonable and put him right at the gateway for his power band with the SC if he chose to put his foot into it.

Pretty much, yeah. My dad said his 86 had basically no bedsides and you could see through the floorpan once he ripped the vinyl out. He only had it for 15 years, bought new. Roughly 10 years spent in the northeast.

That was the generation before Toyota fixed pretty much all their body rot issues, but just transfered them to the frames instead haha.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

3800 rpms at 65mph is dumb... but again... that's just my opinion.

they figured shit out on the damn cars. but the trucks frames are another story. all my toyota cars the underbody is VERY light on rust. even the one that has 800k and 14 winters under its belt!

    the trucks? ha.

    He's 100% right.

I managed to get the trans out with a floor jack and the trans balanced on a block of wood... yes, that was scary shit

But there is 1000% zero chance you're getting the trans installed without a trans jack (without fucking something or someone up).

i put an iron cased transmission in a corvette without a trans jack... would not recommend again.

what works surprisingly well is a ATV jack

Not the scissor jacks either, you need the fully adjustable transmission jack with the pitch and roll adjustments.

Says the guy who won't go wheeling during the week when there aren't a million Jeeps out on the trail so we can have it all to ourselves. :luvya:

Damn, well you can let me know who you can drum up, when it'll be best to do it (once I have my stuff), and what everyone's favorite drink is :anonymous:

That makes total sense, he never said "my" transmission jack but instead "a" transmission jack...

You should really try doing the math instead of guessing. Because with an a340f transmission in 4th gear at 65mph with 4.88 axle gears you'd be at 2391rpm with 265/75/16 tires

Wat, the 4Runner cluster is completely different. The lens won't fit over the Tacoma cluster.

Unless you're talking about the HVAC control, which is identical.
