1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

It's a good feeling to have a workspace. Got a good area for a workbench picked out. Just wish the stack of 35s wasn't in the way. It's the least in the way where it is right now. About even with the engine stand so not much space is actually wasted as long as I keep the Z there. I'd only work on one vehicle at a time anyway in there.

What kind of discs are you running? I've seen conversion kits for sale. Can you hook up your parking brake?

GM 3/4 Dana 44 calipers. They don't have a parking brake but I have a transfer case parking brake kit to install

 

Should be good to run 40s on this setup if I ever wanted to go that big

You have so much room. Mine is stuffed with engines, hoists, jacks, blasters, grinders, mowers, edgers, you name it.

I’ve got loads of shit. 3 car. But the space doesn’t let me fit the shit that I’ve got in the storage unit... I’ve got a rotary 2 post rack, an 134 a/c machine, sand blaster, trans jack, gas tank jack. Etc

 

I need to get on with my plan to find a piece of ranchette land in the north west part of the state and then build one of these metal garage homes. Then I could have a lift and enough room to do some serious work. I could do the sheet rock work and finish out the house once its up. My retirement home dream.
