dude I've been telling myself that for awhile but I'm seriously looking to do it now. My contacts drive me fucking crazy, my allergies have been awful the last couple years and the contacts don't want to stay in my eyes. Hate wearing glasses. Gotta just bite the bullet on the surgery already

the GF started an LLC for managing the vacation home as a rental. $100 out of pocket for the application and I think that's it

 

Tad easier elsewhere. Mississippi, for example, has an LLC fee of $47. Its $998 in California. Plus I have pay for liability insurance, business licensing, a CPA, and an attorney to secure the Delco Remy patent that just expired on my horns.

Cool of you to pursue that though. Would you always keep it as a side business? would you want to establish it to stand on its own? Would you consider going full time with it?

I had a long talk with the investor about it. This is why I’m going to be strafing away from the American Auto Horns brand name, as it really only limits me to car horns. As of right now I’m DBA as Klaxon Technology, Klaxon is an old Greek word for horn and the original company who made those WWII ship horns.

I’m planning on expanding into the 12v market. Things like Bussmann boxes, wiring harnesses, lighting, aux. systems, etc. 12v infrastructure is a huge untapped market, and automotive accessories is a very lucrative market.

Stupid solid idea; the rest of the general public just wants to attach RED WIRE to RED POST and BLACK WIRE to BLACK POST.
