Funny story here but recently a friends husband punched his car right through their garage. He was an auto tech driving a typical cheap beater he got from his boss/dealer on trade. Turns out the shifter bushings were so shot he thought he was in neutral when it was actually in first. He got out to go get something, the car stalled and lurched forward right into the garage door.

yeah I'm not excited to have to deal with this one. I'm sure he's gonna be animated about it when he comes home.

I don't feel at fault because there was definitely room to maneuver around the axle and he didn't notice (and if he did he didn't stop) until he had drug it several feet into the road :homer:

the axle was parallel to his car along the side the driveway, he must have turned hard while backing out and pulled over the axle

Also, it was on the driver side of the car so he should have been able to see it when he got into the car :homer:

yeah that's definitely not your fault. How someone can run over a freaking axle and not immediately stop to see what they just hit is beyond me.

TBH within the first smack of the axle he should've stopped. If he was able to move it THAT far, homeboy was still trynna drive over it instead of looking to see what he hit. Definitely deserved bc it could just be a 200 bumper but now ALL HIS SHIT DONE

WTF. My only reply would be -

    QUOTE "

    upload_2019-12-2_14-48-36.jpg

    " END QUOTE

Key words being "I" and "Drove" over your axle and ripped a bunch of plastic off the bottom of my car

I haven't posted all the deets since it's not settled but I actually got hit and run on the way back from the trip so that's been the primary thing on my mind. need to level with the trailer owner about the damages
