I totally learned that after the fact.

Luckily I got the dial faces and manual hub bodies for free from the dealer.

Oh hell. In that case get a new one. If it were the stock one I’d save it.

The stock one works perfectly still to this day. Can you imagine in 1993 having a AM/FM/CD/Tape with 8 speakers and a sub in an SUV? This was fancy, even had digital display and tone controls with theft protection...

Notice the cruiser's clock even has an alarm and stop watch feature, but only on 91-94 for whatever reason and neither feature is all that useful haha

Only if we're doing laps of an off-road course, this series cruiser did win the Dakar rally 3 times

Anybody have experience with property management and tenant rights? We moved almost a month ago and I feel the property management company that we rented from is trying to screw us on the carpet in the house

I've rented lots of places. Only advice I have is take lots of date stamped photos before and after. I always do photos during walkthroughs and before the final leaving walkthrough. Did you have a non-refundable cleaning fee or something, what're they citing you for?

They are saying the carpet needs to be replaced (which is fair enough, it was old and shitty) we moved out and they have our 1300 deposit to work with and about half a months rent that would be prorated back to us. They said so far they spend $500 on carpet cleaning, and moved a new tenant in. The new tenant started complaining about the carpet and now they are hinting that they are gonna come back at us to replace the carpet. From what I've seen they can only charge us for a prorated amount of what the carpet is worth based of where it is in its life expectancy, but they aren't wanting to give us that information. Also seems strange to me that they called it good enough for a new tenant to move in, but now because of complaints want to come back to us about it.
They haven't given any figure yet for how much this will cost, or if our deposit and rent we paid will cover it, just trying to get my ducks in a row in case they try to get ugly about it
