Kinda fucked on this one because they welded the nut to the stock seat frame so I have no way to hold the seatbelt buckle on the new bracket :/

Eh. What’s a seatbelt? Tundra didn’t have one for a month. Live life dangerously!

When I got my truck the seat belt buckle was loose. Being loose it slowly damaged the threads on the mounting bolt. NAPA and the specialty bolt place in town both told me it was 7/16 and not M11-1.25.

Some people claimed the NTSB forces seatbelt hardware like that to be standard. But I bet it's just that the two sizes are close enough together and M11 bolts just aren't as common.

why you think I checked with you on the M1A 308?
    https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/50221

Although, checking now, they only have the 6.5 Creedmoor in stock... which wouldn't help me one bit. You on the other hand... :infantry:

oh wait a minute - that's replacing it, right? This would still accept 7.62 (?)

Well it's the difference of .733 to .735 so pretty sure the couple of thou are within the margin of error for a rolled thread. I'd settle for either since the pitch on them is the same.

6.5 is a flatter shooting round, but really not necessary for the type of rifle it is.

Unless you go through Jon Wolfe to completely accurize an M1A, just stick with the cheaper .308 version.

In stock form, they're capable of better than 1 MOA, which most people won't be able to achieve at 200 yards alone anyway.

Will the 6.5 version accept both? Seems that is the case from a few searches. Only asking in case it doesn't come back in stock.

On another note, you all see this about the EV1 found in a parking garage?

theres a few still out there. GM let some universities keep a few... but they cant get rid of them. Sad, that car could of single handedly changed GM for the better YEARS ago, hell the prius probably would of never been a thing

6.5 and 7.62/.308 do not interchange at all.

Maybe the stock or chassis if you swapped it out, but different chambering altogether.

Yep, somehow it must've slipped under the radar. Damn fine vehicle.

I imagine our EV landscape would be completely different if Big Oil hadn't forced GM to crush it... literally. Tesla may never have been born. Oooohh there is a scary thought.

Lol yeah just listen to me or @Blue92 and forget everyone else.

And don't ever buy reloads either; I've seen a rifle blow up in someone's possession while firing cheap, questionable reloads he got from a gun show.

C'mon... you have to know by now I don't do 'cheap'. I've learned, going to do something, do it right - the first time. No cheap, way outs or cutting corners.

    What about the Indiana crew?

Well I knew you wouldn't go that route; just in case someone else gave you some ammo or something.
