For the junkyard, if you need something for axle nuts, crank pulley bolts, that sort of stuff get the High Torque. But because of the size you may have problems acessing some suspension & brake parts.

I remember reading about it. It launched the warhead like 400 yards away. I have the light fixtures from one of the sites in Arkansas run by the 376? I think Missile squadron out of Little Rock AFB.

I’ll have to do more research into their tool line. Who do you usually buy from?

You know I was pleasantly surprised by the electric chainsaws. I bought a Harbor Freight battery pole saw and my dad and I cleaned the tree line of a 2 Acre factory property on a single charge.

Well I’m not saying it’s the best choice. But I’m not spending $600 on a gas chainsaw.

Cause you won’t use it but once or twice a year, maybe?

Exactly. I live in the middle of suburban California, there aren’t any trees big enough here to necessitate a big gas chainsaw. That pole saw is just going to be used to trim some palm trees around the house.

Unfortunately the High Torque is with my brother now, otherwise I'd snap a photo showing the size comparison to air tools. I could do that with the ones I have now though. At home I use 1/2 impact for suspension, brakes, & wheels & the High Torque was overkill hated using it cause it was so big. The 1/2 Mid Torque has done everything I need it to except for the crank pulley on my truck. But that don't matter to me cause it's not like I need to do that often & I have a crank pulley holding tool now.

Milwaukee I usually buy from ebay (new) when I find deals. But gone are the $15 off $75, 15%, & 20% off days. Other places I buy from are Acme Tools, Tool Nut, Tool Barn, & CPO. They run deals often. International Tool is another good vendor that runs deals but I have not purchsed anything from them yet.

I don’t really need a 1/2 at home. I have my big pneumatic 1/2 Earthquake XT gun for the big stuff. A food 3/8 for general use would be great. Those power ratchets are on the wishlist too.

Oh that’s a good idea. I’ll bring that pole saw with me.

Wow.. That's really cool. The summer of 1980 was one of the hottest on record. I always suspected the heat had something to do with the accident. Lots of forest fires on top of the extreme heat.

I had just moved back to Little Rock to go back to school when that happened. It was scary as hell. I remember water skiing that summer and jumping into the lake and it was very warm water -- like a jumping into a bathtub. The water stayed warm enough to water ski up into November. I remember going water skiing on the first day of November and everybody was laughing about it. It was just a weird year.
