You've got it. Running on the interstate between 70-72 MPH it stays around 188. Once in a while it climbs up to 190 when running up a hill.

if you're into magnets you would think the application of this stuff is the total shitz

power went out here for a couple days some years ago when the neighbors tree branch snapped the power line due to snow and ice. No heat until power company could reconnect the live wire hanging on the fence a couple days out
outside temps got into the teens and inside temps slipped to the low 50s iirc. had some space heaters with extension cords over the fence plugged inside the neighbors house to kind of keep one or two areas warm
it was close to hell trying to sleep and shivering at the same time

i have a makita that is 25 years old and the battery will not hold a charge
it was the bees knees for cordless drills in the mid 90s
my supervisor had one and i so much wanted one of my own
i recall it was a bit pricey then i am not sure on the quality of this brand anymore though

 

FWIW my buddy who runs a fabrication business uses Makita pretty exclusively for grinders

 

is it an air tool, cordless or corded?

i would say these pads do the job right
compare two pics in same environment, unless the 2nd gen battery has issues with corrosion buildup

was just curious when they may need changed?

Update: I bought a Vicente and a Subaru

 

i smear NOTHING on mine and no corrosion such as i witnessed on relatives 2nd gen trying to clean under hood for them
just the pads doing their job
