That's much more feasible lol. Cause after I buy it i'll have to pay some local TW member help me or pay a shop to lob it on the truck. Wiring of the e-locker, and fabbing/welding on new leaf spring mounts to keep it SUA are things out of my abilities rn

FB memories from 3 years when I was on my first 3 day Mojave Rd trip this time in 2016, back in the short lived Softtopper days

    15326259_803609524298_5682694423947646628_o.jpg

wanted one of those toppers so bad for so long, finally found one and then never liked the look of it after I installed it. Only kept it for maybe 6 months

I probs could do E-locker wiring because I did my own stereo install and fog lights install and wiring on my own. But yeah, knowing what length/angle/welding the leaf spring brackets is above me. other than those 2 should be bolt on and go

Wife was opposed to me storing the RTT in the backyard because it's so big and bulky, so I wrapped it up in a couple army camouflage tarps and put it in the yard. So far she hasn't said anything lol

When it's easier to just steal the truck than steal the ditch lights, you might wanna rethink welding them on

Truck feels naked without it haha. I guess with the bumper on now it sort of evens out to what it was before, but it is nice to be able to see out my rear view mirror again

You get used to it, but it does take some time getting used to. With the tire gate swing out about 50% of the view is blocked anyway still, but definitely more visibility than before.
