He's open to it should anyone inquire, I know a few guys did when I posted photos of mine brand new but they were out of state so I'm not sure if they ended up going with it. Shipping would be difficult to do on the cheap

this is one of those times that putting a knife through the side of your tent is 100% acceptable

    So more can get in?

I bet the one outside the tent is to ward off the rapey type; you cut that tent open it's over.

Decisions made on spider killing are done out of haste and desperation, I'm not thinking that far ahead

I got my rack from Dan via Greyhound.

I'm sure the swing out will weigh a bit more, but it looks like it has a smaller footprint.

I have one of those fancy Spyderco knife sharpening kits, but I recently bought one of those fine/medium grit sharpening stones from Harbor Freight for a few bucks and it does a better job of actually getting the fucker razor sharp. Easy to mess the blade up though if you aren't careful.

Yeah I never took this guy up on his offer from another forum; he has a mobile knife sharpening business and offered to take care of my Gerber for free.

I never let that knife out of my possession; served with me during my tours.

It's dull, but not to me; nothing a bit of pressure can't take care of.

None of you guys are knife collectors are you?

My friend is, and he pays a shit ton for "one off" custom titanium knives and other shit.

My brother in law got me a Gerber knife that I keep in my truck, one of those 6 or 7" long blade ones...it's a good knife. Too big to carry around me all the time of course so I keep it in the truck if I need it, the Benchmade is what I carry on my pocket since it's only a 3" blade and good for everyday use.

The meat cleaver looking pocket knife my TWSS got me is freakin cool though not very practical for daily usage lol. That'll be a camping knife I think

A friend of mine is a big knife collector, I like having more than a few knives but I don't claim to know enough about them to be an enthusiast. He's all about the really expensive ones too, I don't need anything crazy but nothing's more annoying than a knife that goes dull after one or two uses

That's a badass looking knife your TWSS got you; and the Benchmade, well those are good knives in general. Someone stole mine some years back.

I'll be trying out my ARB deflator for the first time when we head out, so my gift will see some use finally.

Yeah my first Benchmade got jacked too...wife got me it for xmas a couple years ago and it was a bigger one than the one I have now. I was at an airsoft arena for a friend's birthday party and some little kid swiped it off me while we were playing, I was pissed.
